1When will I get my Cash Back Reward?
Your cash back reward will be processed and mailed to you within 30 days of your successful closing.
2Where does my rebate come from?
Qualified Military Home Services REALTORS® have a desire to make it more affordable for military members and veterans to own a home and have agreed to participate in the Military Home Services Real Estate Benefit Program. Military Home Services REALTORS® pay a fee to Military Home Services which enables us to provide you your rebate.
3How will I receive my Military Home Services partner savings benefits?
If you use a Military Home Services professional real estate service partner and have been approved for a benefit, you will receive reduced fees or credits at the time of the closing of your real estate transaction. Final terms of these benefits will be determined by the individual professional real estate services partners and agreed to by you prior to contracting them for their service.
4Is this program only for people who are buying a home?
No. This benefit is also available when you sell a home. Though primarily designed to make buying a home more affordable for military members and their families, you may use the program for the purchase and sale of any real estate including your personal residence, rentals, vacation property, vacant land, commercial and business real estate.
5How is my Military Home Services REALTOR® selected for me?
Your Military Home Services REALTOR® has been qualified through Military Home Services to be an ethical and experienced real estate professional who works in the area you live in or are looking to buy in. Unless unavailable, they must be members of the National Association of REALTORS®, the nations largest and most credible organization for real estate professionals.
6What if I don't like the Military Home Services REALTOR® who is selected for me?
On the rare occasion that this does happen, please feel free to discuss this with your Military Home Services Advocate. Describe other details that you are looking for in a REALTOR®. Your Military Home Services Advocate will then find you a Military Home Services REALTOR® who they feel will be more appropriately suited to your needs.
7What are the hours of operation for Military Home Services?
9:00a.m. - 9:00p.m. PST, Monday through Friday.
8What happens if I call after your hours of operation?
If you choose to call after hours, you will be directed to our voice mail system. By leaving a voice mail message, your Military Home Services Advocate will call you back the next business day to assist you. Or, we encourage you to use our website contact forms to give us details so we can be prepared when we call.
9Are there conditions or disclaimers that may effect the Program?
Yes. The Military Home Services Real Estate Benefit Program is not available in areas where it is unlawful to provide rebates on real estate transactions. The sale and/or purchase price must be $100,000 or greater to qualify for the reabate. Rebates may vary based on commission amounts and other fees associated with the purchase and sale of real estate in your area. You must be registered with Military Home Services and you must work solely with your assigned REALTOR®. The rebate is not applicable if you are already working with an agent or you complete a real estate transaction with an agent who has not been assigned to you through this program as a qualified Military Home Services REALTOR®.
NOTE: This program cannot be used in conjunction with any other rebate program.
